1. Beauty and health – what makes us attractive?
Attractiveness is always in the eye of the beholder – and as we know, everything we look at with love is also beautiful. Nevertheless, there are factors and characteristics that we automatically associate with the concept of attractiveness: smooth, flawless skin, a healthy appearance and full, shiny hair come to mind here. If you look back in history, you also notice the subjectivity of each time that is hidden behind these ideals of beauty. In different centuries, pale skin or a lush body were considered desirable.
These examples clearly show that these are status symbols of the time that are based on social conditions and that, as it were, define the beauty features of the time. Especially nowadays, beauty is given great importance. People tend to forget that true beauty comes from within. Finding yourself attractive is also an important point that supports your self-confidence and your own perception. This also includes taking care of ourselves and not neglecting ourselves. You will notice that you are automatically perceived as attractive in the eyes of other people.
2. How do I feel attractive and comfortable in my skin with simple measures?
I would now like to give you a few very simple tips to look attractive! A very important point, which is often underestimated in today’s fast-paced world, is adequate sleep! Both the sleep rhythm and the need for sleep are considered to be individually different, but listen to your body here! Unfortunately, most people are unable to follow their natural rhythm. Many of us are actually part of the so-called “owls” (you feel like you belong here if you are always fit and awake in the evening and never get out of bed in the morning), but have to get up early in the morning to get to work on time appear. Getting up early is not a problem for the “larks”, however, they start the day in a good mood and motivated, but are tired early in the evening.
Nevertheless, one assumes a healthy sleep time of approx. 7 hours in order to give the body sufficient opportunity for regeneration. Our repair mechanisms run at full speed during this time, the immune system is strengthened, the skin recovers and our brain processes the experiences of the day. So keep that in mind if you’d rather watch the next episode of your favorite series on the sofa!
Fortunately, the path to greater attractiveness is no longer tied to looking as youthful as possible; style and a well-groomed appearance are much more decisive in how we are perceived by others. All of this also helps us to deal confidently with aging, and the advantage of the “best agers” is that they can find more time for themselves and develop a positive outlook on life. With everything, remember: What is good for the soul makes beautiful!
3. How do we properly care for our facial skin from the age of 50?
Mature skin in particular has very different care needs than young skin: it becomes thinner, drier and less elastic. Now it is important to give your skin the right level of moisture and to strengthen the skin barrier.
From the age of 50 in particular, you should pay more attention to prevent dehydration, prevent skin damage and donate a lot of moisture. However, adapt your facial care not only to your age, but also to the seasons. You should also pay special attention to your eye care, here the skin is particularly thin and sensitive. Take care of them with a rich cream, which at the same time counteracts the small wrinkles.
Another point is a healthy drinking behavior . Drinking flushes toxins from our body, ensures plump, firm skin, keeps the brain fit and helps us lose weight. And what amount are we talking about here? This depends on the individual living conditions, external influences such as heat, but also on age – depending on your personal parameters, you should expect 2–4 liters per day, some of which is also consumed through food. Many of us just forget to drink, work or the children distract us too much … Make it easier for yourself by putting a glass of water on the table with every meal, distributing the required amount of liquid evenly over the day and switch between different drinks.
An alternative addition could be a coconut oil facial, which is reputed to be wonderfully smooth and moisturizing. To get a little bit of wellness in your bathroom, opt for a cream that contains essential oils. These donate not only a lot of moisture, but also provide relaxation and sensual pleasure through their scent. A facial massage also tightens the contours, relieves tension and ensures well-being. So approach aging happily and calmly, as we have so many options today to perfectly care for our skin.
4. What are the reasons for hair loss and what can be done about it?
Full, strong and shiny hair is a sign of a healthy lifestyle and vitality, stands for youthfulness and beauty. Therefore, hair loss is a sensitive issue for both women and men. Hair loss is part of a natural cycle; we only begin to speak of a moment in need of treatment when we lose more than 100 hairs a day. In this case, hair loss should always be examined medically first. In many women, the symptom shows up during, or especially after, pregnancy, also caused by iron deficiency.
Other reasons can be found in an unhealthy lifestyle, stress, poor nutrition, over-acidity or illnesses. Once the hair loss has been medically clarified, a holistic concept can also be considered. These include intestinal rehabilitation, change in diet or alkaline hair and scalp care. Alternatively, you can rely on zinc or take iron in combination with vitamin A to stimulate hair growth. Statistically speaking, men are more often affected by hair loss than women, including every stage from receding hairline to baldness. For this reason, one of the earliest drugs in medical history is a remedy for “balding men”.
5. How does my hair become a real highlight?
It cannot be denied that hair has a signal function and is equated with attractiveness. They frame the face, adorn it, and are a key stimulus in how we judge a person. If you see the amount of time we put into our hair
and investing in their care, we become aware of the great importance we attach to this aspect of our well-groomed appearance. But how do I get shiny, beautiful hair? In the following I have put together a few tips for you that will make every hair shine! Give it a try with a rinse made from a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice that you add to a liter of warm water. This mixture closes the cuticle of the hair and it starts to shine!
As a further measure, I can only recommend that you pamper your hair with a moisturizing or regenerating mask once a week . Basically, it should be important to choose the shampoo and conditioner that suit the needs of your hair. After washing your hair, make sure not to rub it dry with the towel , but only to gently squeeze it out. If you need to blow dry your hair, do not set the device to the highest setting, take a little more time and, above all, do not forget the appropriate heat protection!
6. How do I stay safe and sound? Small weight loss tips for your everyday life
Do you want to fight excess pounds? You have gained some weight together in your relationship and now you want to lose weight again. It is important that you really only campaign for yourself and your own health. Don’t let others push you or tell you to do something! Losing weight starts in your head and if you don’t fully support this desire yourself, the endeavor is usually doomed to failure. If you set yourself realistic goals on the path you have chosen, you will avoid a lot of frustration and pressure of expectation right from the start. Without a sensible, healthy change in diet it is usually very difficult to lose pounds. Eat a varied and balanced diet, because only when the body gets what it needs can it melt stored fat reserves!
In the fight against the pounds, you should also rely on exercise . Any sport is allowed, try what you enjoy and above all, start slowly! It takes 15-20 minutes a day to achieve success. Long walks and climbing stairs instead of using the elevator are also light activities. They want more? – The most effective method is to build muscle (muscles are the body’s own fat killers) in conjunction with endurance sports. Whichever method you choose, try to find a rhythm and regularity in which you can integrate your form of physical activity into your everyday life. And even after the first successes, you should continue with your chosen exercises so that the notorious yo-yo effect does not set in.
