1. What is antiaging?

The term anti-aging (antiaging) comes from English and means age inhibition. The aim of anti-aging is to slow down the process of aging and skin aging and to keep the quality of life at a high level and in good shape.

Briefly on the background of anti-aging and in particular anti-aging foods. Our body is often over-acidic from our diet. Acid, in turn, leads to skin damage and accelerates skin aging. It is important to mention that the effects of anti aging food and anti aging agents have a long-term effect. For you, this means that you can start changing your diet to anti-aging foods at any time. If you follow a few tips from the anti aging diet, you will soon be able to admire your radiant complexion.

2. Which foods reduce wrinkles?

Which foods help against wrinkles?

2a. Yogurt, whey and buttermilk

My first tip for anti-aging foods: sour milk products such as yogurt, whey and buttermilk! The proteins contained in it stop the skin from aging and help the body with skin repairs. Plus, you are low in calories. The so-called collagen reduces wrinkles. Collagen helps in the renewal of body cells and thereby reduces small damage to the skin.

2 B. elderberry juice

My number two antiaging food is elderberries in the form of elderberry juice. This anti aging food protects against free radicals that accelerate skin aging. It also provides good vitamins for the skin. The high vitamin C content improves the elasticity of the skin and protects it from damage.

2c. Red grapes and dark berries

Anti-wrinkle foods also include dark berries. 150 grams of red grapes or 150 ml of red grape juice are recommended. The anti-aging substance resveratrol it contains can repair minor skin damage. It also stimulates the body’s own repair genes. Pomegranate and watermelon are also red foods for more energy.

2d. Carrots and tomatoes

The anti-aging foods carrots and tomatoes ensure a fresh complexion and counteract the aging of the skin. The reason for this are the carotenoids. In addition, they ensure the body’s own sun protection with a sun protection factor of four. Here I want to point out that using sunscreen is an absolute must. The sun’s rays are at the top of the list of wrinkles.

2e. Green vegetables and green tea

Green vegetables such as spinach, broccoli, cucumber and rocket should not be missing in the anti-wrinkle diet. With their high vitamin B content, they ensure intact skin cells, which in turn ensure a radiant complexion. In addition to the green vegetables, green tea also relieves minor inflammation of the skin and makes you glow.

2f. Silent Waters

My final anti aging food tip is still water. The recommended daily water requirement is on average two to three liters. The water flushes toxins and pollutants from the body that damage the skin and can accelerate the general aging process.

3. Which foods make wrinkles worse?

Which foods age the skin?

3a. Meat and animal foods

Meat, sausage or other animal foods make felling or accelerate the formation of wrinkles. As a result, the number of vegetarians and vegans is steadily increasing. Intensive sunbathing and smoking also attack the cells of the skin

3b. alcohol

Regular consumption of alcohol causes the skin to age in the long term. The reason for this is that alcohol dries out the body. The digestive organs can be negatively affected, so that they can no longer absorb important nutrients. Nutrients ensure a fresh complexion and make you look younger.

3c. salt

Avoid salt for a younger and fresher look. Salt dries out the cells and removes vitamins from the body. This makes the skin look saggy and wrinkled. My anti-aging food tip: Use less salt when cooking and avoid finished products. A lot of salt is hidden here.

3d. Wheat products

Avoid light-colored rolls or white baguettes. Wheat products contain substances that cause blood sugar levels to rise sharply. This creates substances in the body, the so-called “Advanced Glycation Endproducts”, or “AGEs” for short. In the long run, these ensure wrinkled, old-looking skin.

3e. White sugar

Like wheat products, sweets and sugar also raise blood sugar. This creates the unpleasant AGEs that make the skin look pale and old. In fact, consuming sugar promotes skin aging. My anti-aging food tip: Try to avoid foods that are high in sugar. Take a look at the foods you consume consciously for hiding sugar. You will be surprised where white sugar is hiding all over the place.

Thank you for your interest! I hope you enjoy the many anti-aging foods that I have been able to introduce to you. With this in mind, there is only one thing left for me to say: stay young and fresh!
